About Us
Rebecca & Lucy
Two sisters. A shared love of homes. A wealth of renovation experience.
Dove House was founded by sisters Rebecca and Lucy, whose passion for interiors began long before the studio did. Growing up in a rambling country house in Chiddingfold, we came to appreciate that a home is much more than the walls around us. It’s the backdrop to everyday life — and the spaces we live in have a huge influence on how we feel. Between us, we’ve lived through the ups and downs of numerous house renovations, across different homes, styles and budgets. Along the way, we’ve learnt what works, what doesn’t, and just how many decisions are involved in creating a home that feels right.
Our backgrounds are different but complementary. Lucy brings a background in IT and maths, together with formal design training from Chelsea Design School, while Rebecca’s background in Corporate Communications has given her years of experience working with clients and managing complex projects.
After years of renovating our own homes, we know that creating a beautiful home is about much more than choosing the right sofa or paint colour. Over the years, friends — and friends of friends — began asking us for help with their own home projects. What started as informal advice grew into something much more, and in 2018 we brought our skills together to create Dove House.
Today, we help our clients make thoughtful, confident decisions about their homes — from the first ideas and renovation plans through to the details that make a space feel personal. We believe the best interiors aren’t simply beautiful. They’re considered, practical and made for the people who live in them.
